String Beans and Tomatoes


String Beans and Tomatoes - healthy side dish

Ingredients

1 Thinly sliced small red onion
1 Teaspoon of minced garlic
1/2 Tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 lb String beans
4 Roughly chopped Roman tomatoes
1/2 Teaspoon of red chilly flakes
2 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 Teaspoon of dry parsley


Instructions

Remove head and tail of string beans and slice into two halves
Steam string beans in microwave for about three mins in a safe dish
Heat oil in a pan and saute onions and garlic
Add tomatoes to the onion and garlic mixture and cook for 2 min
Add the steamed string beans to the pan with the remaining ingredients
Stir well and season to taste with salt and black ground pepper

Perfect side dish to serve with grilled fish.
